The goal of the Yamhill Carlton Anti-Drug (YCAD) Coalition is to create a healthy and safe community by working together to reduce substance abuse among youth. The YCAD Coalition is funded by the Drug Free Communities Support Program through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
Some selected YCAD-Funded Programs for CTC include: - purchased Too Good for Drugs curriculum used by YC School District - hosted two Underage Drinking Town Hall meetings - purchased What Teens Need to Succeed books for use at YC High School - funding for "Tiger Tracks" summer hike program at YC High School
